When we opened Dutch Touch in the old location, we were busy from the start. With very little money, we built the shop in 25 days, thanks to some good friends. We did our best over the years to make the place look good, but it was an old building, and was falling apart. There were also issues with all the homeless people downstairs, not to mention a liquor store, which brought El Cajon's finest.  We had many different artists there, and met some really great people. After 15 years, I didn't know what I was going to do. My lease was almost over, and I had to make some quick decisions. I looked around for a new location, and found an empty taco shop that looked like it would work. I designed the floor plan on my iPad, and 3 months later, we started construction.
